Halloween in Miami: The Best Block Parties, Haunted Attractions & Spooky Spots
Halloween in Miami is not about sweaters and falling leaves. It is about palm trees, warm nights, outrageous costumes, and some of the biggest street parties in the country. This year Halloween falls on Saturday, October 31, 2026, which means the whole weekend is packed with things to do, from family trick-or-treating to haunted houses that will make you scream.
Here are some of the best Halloween spots and events in Miami this year, organized by neighborhood and by how scary you want your night to be.
Lincoln Road Halloween Block Party, South Beach
Lincoln Road is Miami Beach’s most famous Halloween tradition. On October 31, the pedestrian promenade hosts its free annual block party from 5 PM to 1:30 AM. Early in the evening, kids can trick-or-treat with candy stations, crafts, and costumed characters while supplies last. Later, Lincoln Road turns into a giant catwalk of creative costumes, with live performers, a band, and DJs. Grab an outdoor table at one of the restaurants and enjoy some of the best people-watching in Miami.
HalloWYN, Wynwood
Wynwood brings the art-district energy with HalloWYN, a free Halloween block party at Wynwood Marketplace on Saturday, October 31, from 7 PM to 3 AM. Now in its 13th year, it features Miami DJs, drink specials, and thousands of costumed revelers. RSVP on Eventbrite for a free drink, or look into the VIP open bar packages.
Halloween on Calle Ocho, Little Havana
Little Havana does Halloween with salsa. Hoy Como Ayer on Calle Ocho hosts a no-cover Halloween costume party on Friday, October 30, with doors at 8 PM, salsa, merengue, Latin hits, live percussion, and a costume contest with a gift card prize. It is 21 and over with a valid ID.
Coconut Grove Harvest
For families, Coconut Grove is one of the sweetest Halloween spots in the city. Coconut Grove Harvest runs from October 23 to November 1 with a pumpkin patch on Fuller Street. On Halloween night, from 6 PM to 8 PM, the Grove hosts trick-or-treating, a scavenger hunt, a live DJ, storytelling at Books & Books, a children’s performance by Fantasy Theatre Factory, and a costume contest at 7:30 PM.
Zoo Boo at Zoo Miami
Zoo Boo is a kid-friendly favorite. On Saturday, October 24, and Sunday, October 25, from 10 AM to 3 PM, families can come in costume for trick-or-treating, a costume contest, inflatables, a live DJ, magic shows, and the chance to watch the animals receive their own Halloween treats. It is included with regular zoo admission, and trick-or-treating is for kids 12 and under.
Garden of Shadows at Fairchild
For grown-ups who want something a little different, Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden in Coral Gables hosts Garden of Shadows on October 23 and 24, from 7 PM to 10:30 PM. The Garden turns into a Halloween party after dark with a Shadow Trail, tarot readers, aerialists, contortionists, a live DJ, cocktails, and a costume contest. Tickets are required, and the event is made for an adult crowd.
Haunted Attractions
If you came for the screams, Miami has plenty of them:
- The Horrorland at Jungle Island – Haunted houses, scare zones, and the Circus of Terror show on Watson Island, Thursday through Sunday nights through November 1.
- House of Horror Haunted Carnival at Tropical Park – Five haunted houses, unlimited carnival rides, and, new this year, House of Little Horrors, a low-scare zone for families. Open nightly through November 1.
- Sounds of Screams at the Miami-Dade County Fair & Expo – Haunted houses, roaming scare zones, and carnival rides, including Mitos, a haunted house inspired by legends from across Latin America. Open through November 1.
Ticket prices, hours, and age recommendations vary, so check each attraction’s official site before you go.
Make It a Miami Halloween Weekend
The best Halloween plans mix day and night. Spend the day exploring a neighborhood, then come back after dark for the party. Taste Cuban food on our Little Havana tour, which runs daily at 11 AM and 3 PM, before the Calle Ocho celebration. Book a private Wynwood Art & Graffiti Experience to see the murals in daylight before HalloWYN takes over the neighborhood. Or take the private Miami Beach Art Deco, History & Culture Experience, which finishes on Ocean Drive, just a short ride from the Lincoln Road block party.
Halloween in Miami is warm, so plan costumes for the heat, drink plenty of water, and use rideshare or trolleys on the busiest nights. With free cancellation up to 24 hours before your tour, it is easy to fit a tour into your weekend plans.
